Don't expect the game to work perfectly even if you fit into the required specifications. IV. Installation ----------------- The game is provided into an 'easy to use' installation pack. To uninstall the game: configuration > control panel > remove programs V. Game -------- The idea was to create a 3d arcade game with an 'old fashion' look, based on star wars films. The game represents the epic battle of Yavin (A New Hope), you play as Luke, and the mission is to destroy the death star with a group of 30 rebel ships. The game has 6 stages that play continuously, a label in the GUI indicates this. In the radar, the red dots are the rebels and the green dots are the empire. the squares are the cruisers, when they blink is that their damage is over 90%. the 'wings:XX' label in the GUI indicate the wing mates left that are fighting with you (you included). Laser: you have 3 modes, 1 laser at a time, twice, and four way laser. You change it with X key. you win (and see the epic finale) when: - you destroy the death star by using the proton torpedoes (secondary mouse button) to attack the Thermal Exhaust Port in stage 6. you loose when: - you waste all your lives. helps: - your shield will have a slow but constant auto-repair mode. - Give cover to mates is most important. - you keep the torpedoes for the final stage so you wont be able to use them until then. - you can't destroy a star destroyer if it still has an active energy pod. - If you are good at aiming change laser to mode4 ('X' key), you can wipe out a tie with one shot. - you will get an extra X-Wing at 250.000 and 700.000 points. - When Ben Kenobi tell's you to 'use the force' in stage 6, you can do what real Luke Skywalker did to decrease Darth Vader's laser power. ;-) - In Darth Vader stage, use all the trench space to move. VI.
